Truck Problems!

Today I was told that the rear end in my Toyota truck was about to give out. That was not the news that I wanted to hear before I had to drive all the way to school. My father told me that there was a chance that it could go out while I was driving and if it did not to freak out. He said just to slowing stop the truck and call my brothers.

Anyways what this has to do with design, is why can't people make a car or truck that does not break? Or one with easy ways to change things. Like the rear end, or the transfer case. Maybe people should design a truck that when the rear end breaks it keeps going.

This is just an idea...

Mid Terms, Easy?

Well everyone I took my first mid term today, and to be honest it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We went over everything first then took the test. The good thing was nothing was that confusing.

In the test there was stuff about Flash animations, terms, Blogging, and Pod casting. The good thing about that was one we already took a test on pod casting and blogging, so I knew everything about that. The bad thing was that Flash terms and things still get me confused. Only because almost everything is the same, or mean the same.

New Day, New Design.

Today I have decided, that for every new day I, in return, will make a new design. Now when I say design, I can mean anything from a new drawing to a new website.

Today I was thinking about making a new Flash animation, but thought about the troubles the first one has given me and decided against that idea. My next idea was to draw a new tattoo design, but then I thought that would make me want another tattoo and I don't think that would go over well with my parents.

So now I ask you, what do you think my new design should be?

A website?

A tattoo design?

The Beginning To a Good Week.

My weekend went amazing, it was relaxing and refreshing.  I got school work done, tons of notes, and was able to sleep in past 11 A.M. Now for the bad about this weekend, Flash became annoying. Flash just didn't want to help out with what I wanted it to do.

So today I have to ask how to make shadows move the way I want them too?

How can I make them rotate without flipping over?

How can I make them look like they are moving with the sun?

These are my questions for today.

Flash Became My Friend...For Now.

For once Flash agreed with me, I was able to start and finish my animation.

My animation started off badly, but as I thought of different things to do, it became easier. I was able to download Illustrator and draw a whole semi truck. I drew trees and clouds for the background, and even throw in some sounds. All in all last night was a good night, getting things finished that I believed would take me at least a week or more to do.

Now I have to try and become friends with Photoshop, but that is a whole different day.

Flash Hates Me!

Today I decided to try to create my own animation with semi trucks, road signs, and trees. Sadly I have had the worst time, not because it was giving me problems but because I couldn't get my pictures to do what I needed them to do. After a long 2 hours of messing with it, I decided that I needed to take a break before I threw my laptop out the window.

My long break was well needed, but getting back into creating my animation was a problem. I didn't know where to begin or what I even needed to do. I guess what I am saying is if anyone has any advice, I need all the help I can get.

Too Short of a Weekend!

It's Sunday night and I am wondering where my weekend went...thinking about it I didn't have a weekend because, Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday I worked. I had no time for me, but then I remember NO SCHOOL MONDAY and I became happy, not because I didn't have school but because I have no school and no work for the first time in a long time. And let me tell you, my Monday off is a well needed day off.

My lack of sleep has been playing tricks on me, let me tell you how. Today when I got off work I decided I would download Flash onto my computer so that I could start playing around and get more comfortable with it. As I was downloading Flash I forgot that I needed to download some updated stuff for my computer for it to let me finish downloading. So it gets to the last percent of downloading when it informs me that I don't have everything I need to download the rest of the application. There went my day, I was tired and didn't feel like sitting through more downloads. Being tired is my computer weakness.
